In time for the 10th anniversary of the very first Electro we proudly introduce the new Nord Electro 4D SW 61.The ultra lightweight (7kg) Electro 4D sports a 61-key Semi Weighted Waterfall key bed and the sturdy, great feeling drawbars found on the Nord C2D for full hands-on control, as well as support for both our constantly expanding Sound Libraries.
Sound-wise the Nord Electro 4D has a number of improvements under the red hood: The Organ section features a brand new tone wheel engine derived from our flagship organ Nord C2D. The Click-modeling has been improved and there’s a brand new Rotary Speaker simulation with an amazing new Drive.
The Nord Electro 4D supports Long Release suitable for legato playing and selectable String Resonance. Handling programs is easy with 4 Program Banks and 4 Live Locations. The Effect section now includes a flexible new Delay Effect with tap-tempo, rate, amount and a stereo Ping-Pong mode and the USB port doubles as an USB-MIDI interface.

CUE 2012: The possibilities of this moment!
On the 16th, 17th and 18th of January 2012 the CUE2012 exhibition was organized in Ahoy, Rotterdam. The renewed concept of the former Theatre Exhibition may rightly be called successful. With 88 exhibitors and 5,000 visitors CUE2012 can look back on a successful edition.
The CUE2012 was an excellent opportunity to show M-Works and her ambitions to the public. With the introduction of Chauvet (Pro Light) and TWAUDiO (Pro Audio) M-Works did not miss this chance to promote her future plans to the industry.
During CUE2012 the public was attracted towards the Chauvet Legend 412. We can honestly say: " "What is in the name?". The stunning clarity and numerous applications convinced many visitors of the power of this living legend. The 12 quad-color RGBW CREE LEDS can be directed from four segments and deliver an excellent result. This makes the Legend 412 to one of the most versatile moving yokes on the market.
That Chauvet is an excellent partner for complete solutions was underlined by the presentation of the energy-efficient COLORdash line. The compact COLORdash Tri-Par and the linear LED washes of the COLORdash Batten and Batten-Tri provide opportunities for permanent installation, events and architecture. To complete the solution Chauvet offers the useful COLORdash Accent (Also available in UV and VW) for the accents and the harder parts to highlight in a space.
TWAUDiO managed to convince the public with the introduction of perhaps the best stage monitor on the market, the coaxial monitor C15. The C15 has a very clean, but powerful character and delivers high-quality SPL's with low distortion. The claim that every professional agrees on the quality of the C15 is obviously not out of place. M-Works shares this opinion and likes the challenge you on this statement. Please let us know!
Besides the well known M-line finally the M10 was officially announced for release this spring. In addition, the launch of the new Line Array, working title "VERA XX", was also set for this spring. TWAUDiO is a quality brand and much more can be expected in the near future. The Nord Piano 2 HA88 lets you easily play, split and layer stunning Grand, Upright and Electric Pianos from the Nord Piano Library with sounds from the versatile Nord Sample Library. All this in a streamlined portable package with 88 Hammer Action Weighted keys. The Nord Piano 2 comes with a wide range of quality acoustic and electro-mechanical instruments from the Nord Piano Library, all with their own unique character. The included Nord Triple Pedal features a dynamic sustain pedal that can also recreate the mechanical "stomp" and "sizzle" noises that occur when the lifting or releasing the dampener in an Acoustic Grand or Upright Piano. The Advanced String Resonance feature simulates the subtle phenomenon that occurs when piano strings cause other un-dampened strings to resonate, further adding to an amazing level of realism.
The Nord Sample Library offers more than 1000 high quality sample-instruments ranging from Strings, Brass, Synths and Basses to the legendary vintage sounds of the Mellotron and Chamberlin. Both the Nord Piano and Nord Sample libraries are continuously updated and are available as free downloads for all Nord owners. All of the sounds in the Nord Piano 2 HA88 are replaceable, making it an instrument that is built to evolve with you. It's even possible to create your own sample instruments using the Nord Sample Editor. We think technology should be transparent to the user, which is why the Nord Piano 2 has dedicated buttons and knobs for all functions the performing musician needs instead of confusing menus. We've made it amazingly simple to layer and split sounds, and there's a volume pedal input for sneaking in those strings while you keep playing.
